Hi everyone,

I just moved to Louisiana from Ontario, Canada about two months ago. I missed my family pup so much that I decided to get another Shih Tzu. Instead of getting a new puppy, I considered rescuing but instead found Scooby, a 6 month old whose family no longer wanted him. They said he wasn't a great pup because they didn't have time for him...look at this happy face!!! He is such a darling and even with his quirks (licks up his urine after making a mess, not wanting to go down the stairs or wanting to snuggle) he is quite charming.

I love dogs, reading about them, learning about them, talking about them. There is always something to learn and I am hoping that this website and book will provide me with the knowledge and tools to raise a good furry citizen.
